Adam started as a DJ at small illegal raves in the heart of Europe and together with the Cirkus Alien crew he was at the birth of the Czech Free tekno movement. His connection to the underground scene has lasted until today. Thus, he is a welcome guest at both smaller warehouse parties and large raves and clubs across Europe.

In 2000, he founded the label DCT Records, and his vinyl productions, along with several sub-labels (Mikro, DD, Tool, …), quickly established themselves in the European ravescene. Adam Vandal has released dozens of albums mainly on vinyl. Techno what he produced can be heard on various European labels, but most of his music has been released under his own brand. Adam Vandal’s philosophy is to create music for a wide spectrum of ravers while also keeping DJs in mind. As he himself says, it is equally important for him that DJs can mix new combinations from his tracks that are tailored to the specific place and moment of presence. DCT Records also features well-known names from the European underground scene as Suburbass, Sevenum Six, TMH or Format C:/, but also supports the local scene with promising local producers. Adam also loves music gear and has passion for all kinds of groove boxes, synthesizers,and unusual effects. His performances can be full of improvisation, but they are grounded in the proven grooves from his productions, which he has been dedicated to for over 25 years. Recently, Adam Vandal has also been working with Prague based producer TMH, theyhave released several EPs and videos together. They`re also available as Adam Vandal &TMH – LIVE. Adam Vandal is also a DJ. He previously performed under the pseudonym DJ Revize, and his favorite styles beside his own production include techno, acid techno, acid house,bassline house and breakbeat.
