Hugo Moronval, also known as KT-KLIZM, began exploring computer-assisted music (MAO) around the age of six. Over the years, he discovered the world of loops and musical composition, and by the age of eighteen, he was experimenting with electronic production across various styles such as dubstep, drum and bass, bass house, and more — gaining valuable experience in sound design.

At nineteen, after discovering the free party scene in northern France, he started performing as a DJ. It was then that the idea for a tekno music project — KT-KLIZM — was born.
His early sound was heavily influenced by hardtek, tribecore, frenchcore, and hardcore, marking the beginning of several years of sonic experimentation. Gradually, his unique artistic identity took shape. With a passion for hypnotic atmospheres and a strong connection to the tribe movement, KT-KLIZM developed a refined and energetic style.

His music blends Hardtek and Tribe elements, featuring driving kick-bass rhythms and powerful, innovative dynamics. Drawing inspiration from everything around him, KT-KLIZM’s compositions reflect a wide range of underground electronic influences.

A true enthusiast of hardware instruments such as Korg, Behringer, and Yamaha, he produced several tracks for his EPs Tribe Lab 01 and Tribe Lab 02, and performed at numerous free parties between 2019 and 2020 — a true delight for old-school tekno lovers.
Always pushing his creative boundaries, he later returned to computer-based production to develop more intricate and ambitious projects and live sets.

Having had the chance to collaborate with and learn from artists who inspired him — including Nesh Mayday and pROTOKICK — KT-KLIZM continues to work with other influential producers such as Hydrokick, Aven23, Loko, Sonik23, Blazin’ Bomzai, Rotek, Raptatek, and Molotov. These collaborations have helped him refine his techniques and elevate the quality of his sound.

Since 2023, KT-KLIZM has performed across Europe — in Spain, Italy, Belgium, France, and Germany — sharing stages with notable artists such as Insane Teknology, Miltatek, Vortek’s, Chôko, Mad Alien, Raptatek, and Neurotribe, among others. These shows have been exceptional opportunities for artistic exchange and human connection.

KT-KLIZM is also the founder of his own record company, DTF PRODUCTION, which hosts four labels: Tribe Lab Records, Mekatek Records, Dark Skvll Records, and Xtra Tribe Records.
More recently, several artists including Rotek, Sonik23, Blazin’ Bomzai, and Molotov have joined DTF PRODUCTION, contributing their energy and creativity to the labels’ growing influence in the underground scene.
