Founded by Nesh Mayday and Stiwie in 2016, the crew held its first rave near Milan the following year. In 2018, they travelled abroad together for the first time to take part in a teknival in Paris.

Mayday became a regular presence at free parties, independent cultural spaces and clubs across Europe, while building a catalogue of original music released on European labels. Tekno and underground culture have remained at the heart of the project.

With TEKA joining in 2020, the crew launched a run of vinyl releases, first on a French label, then through Kumite in collaboration with InSaNe TekNoLogY. The crew later launched its own label, Mayday Records.

In 2026, Alifer joins Nesh Mayday, Stiwie and TEKA and the crew takes its final form: four artists with distinct sounds and backgrounds, connected by their love of tekno.

Together, they present Mayday Full Showcase, bringing the full crew to clubs and festivals through one DJ set and three live sets. Built around Mayday’s own productions, the showcase moves from melodic, acid-driven tekno through newschool tribe to its harder edge.
